A Bowl Trap
Put a ripe skinless fruit with a wine or vinegar in a bowl. Cover it tightly with a plastic wrap and punch small holes which are large enough for fruit flies to get in. When they get in they won’t be able to get out. Make sure that your hole is not too big or the fruit flies won’t be trapped inside but will be able to fly back out.
Keep in mind fruit flies like banana. Instead of putting vinegar or wine in the trap try using banana. The smell of it alone attracts fruit flies. There are a lot of “How to trap fruit flies?” suggestions online. Check them out - Click Here.
